He was simultaneously a distinguished intellectual, a wise religious and political leader and a great thinker. He has left an indelible mark of his great personality in every field of practical life.
In the first quarter of the nineteenth century, the role of Professor Syed Sulaiman Ashraf in the awakening of national and collective consciousness in the Islamic world and especially in Indian Muslims cannot be ignored. He tried his best to protect the Muslims of India from the hypocritical politics of Gandhi and his supporters in the Khilafat Movement, Turk Mowalat, Hijra, Hindu Muslim Unity and Turk Cow Slaughter Movement.
