Abstract

Sajʿ (rhyme) is a venerable poetic tradition within the Arabic language, serving as a distinctive form that mirrors the aesthetics inherent in Arabic literature. Its essence lies in the meticulous arrangement of words and verses, adhering to a predetermined pattern that involves the repetition of phonetic endings. The art of Sajʿ is governed by specific conditions, encompassing elements such as rhyme, meter, and phonetic uniformity. Within the realm of Sajʿ, there exist diverse categories, such as cross-rhyme and coordinated rhyme, each accentuating its unique techniques and stylistic beauty.
