Abstract

Abstract

Unity and solidarity play an extraordinary role in fostering a nation and accomplishing their more significant standards. Unity is a drive towards social security and stability of a nation. Any nation can be demolished, if the issue of unity cannot be settled wisely and with intelligently. The brilliance of Islam's past development clearly exhibits the obligation of brotherhood in a multicultural society that is sustained for such extensive stretches of time. Such greatness is a manifestation of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) determination and his companions who followed the path directed by Allah Almighty. Islam demonstrates and offers noticeable principals to live together in solidarity. Islamic orders are very significant to build up harmony and peace. Now a days, Muslim Ummah is remaining at the limit of hardship brought about by the expanding propensity of sectarianism and religious extremism. Under these conditions it is need of the hour to bring balance in thinking and temperament so the Islam and human life could not be affected. It is the principal obligation to establish an environment of solidarity. Muslim's solidarity is a significant and undeniable issue of the time. Therefore, this paper explores the idea of solidarity in Islam based on the direction of Holy Quran, sayings of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) and the perspectives of jurists who banter this issue.
