Abstract

In the Battle of Badr in 2 AH, the Meccan infidels suffered a crushing defeat. After that, the Meccan infidels decided to attack the state of Medina in the month of Shawwal the following year, 3 AH, which resulted in the Battle of Uhud. The "place of Uhud" where this incident took place is located in Arabia, north of Medina.

The Battle of Uhud holds a special significance in the history of Islam. This event has been described in books of biography, history and narrations. Some people have interpreted the Battle of Uhud as a defeat. Whereas we have adopted the view that "there can be no defeat in a war in which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is a participant."

Khaksar has proven in his article "The Battle of Uhud: Military Tactics and Results" that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) adopted a defensive strategy and gave a crushing response to the enemy. Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, also gave victory to the believers in the Battle of Uhud, just like in the Battle of Badr. In this article, the author has described all the events and proven that the believers were victorious in the Battle of Uhud.
