Need and importance of polygamy in our society

Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life. It teaches us to make a spruced and clean society based on pure teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). Marital life captures an important role in society. Polygamy means to have more than on wife. There are practical examples of polygamy in the history of every Religions, nations and societies. In Islam one man can also marry more than one woman but not more than four women at a time. There are some conditions in polygamy. A man who can fulfill all its conditions can act upon it. It is necessary to keep balance in family life and it is also necessary to understand the topic in the light of Islamic teachings and instructions. The role of polygamy/polygany is important to ban on some immoral actions which may be created in society. It is important to understand rules, regulations and advantages of polygamy. This article is an analytical research in this regard which may be helpful and fruitful to ban on immoral activities of the society and also be helpful to solve the problems of women of our society.
